A Well-Travelled Babe
PB’s second road trip/vacation is currently underway. For the most part travelling with her is easy: she handles the long hours in the car and strange sleeping accommodations with good humor, only giving us the briefest of meltdowns. A very exciting part of this trip has been a morning spent at Niagara Falls.
Peaceful Baby is 4 1/2 months old and has already been to 7 states and Canada. She is one well-travelled babe!
I am so thankful we have been brave/crazy enough to take her out and about with us. Life changes when you have a baby, but it doesn’t stop. So we have tried to live our lives with patience and flexibility, taking opportunities as they come. I think it has helped PB become a pleasant, social child who can go with the flow. So far, anyway….

Completely agree! When our girls were 8 weeks old we travelled to see my Great Grandparents who live 7hours by car from us. It took 12hours, but it was amazing and wonderful to feel we could still get out like we did before we became parents. I love that my kids will take the world in their stride and go to anyone for a cuddle…anything to make parenting a little bit easier.
